Wow, you are doing an amazing job of what we call in medical school "sublimating." It is one of the most advanced forms of coping - right up there with humor (you are combining the two). Sublimating is like you making your t-shirts after your diagnosis, turning the energy of your feelings into something productive. Last week I went to a research conference & one of the med student researchers showed data on cancer pts & coping mechanisms. Those who used humor & sublimation had vastly greater survival outcomes (like on the order of doing chemo!). So keep rockin' chica, you are fighting more than you know...
