I now have five o clock shadow fuzzy head with lots of new growth coming in everyday so I now can celebrate the end of wiggin out. Today, you can check out some new art updates on our site. I have added a few mixed media large-scale portraits from 2002. images of 2010 Organic Art and 2008-2009 Recycled paper Paintings from El Salvador. I am working on getting prices and dimensions up but EVERYTHING is for sale. beautiful lady!
Jenny and Dave, Thanks so much for sharing so much...even on your chemo days you are thinking of how we are feeling and wanting to hear how you are doing. What grace. Graceful. Gracious. I wondered about grace and found this:
The grace of God is, of course, one of the most important doctrines of the Bible; and the adjectival form of this word is one of the fundamental attributes of God. Of the several words for grace or mercy, the verb khanan, "to be gracious, show favor," along with its derivatives, is one of the most important for understanding what grace means.
Etymology
The Hebrew dictionaries define this verb as "to show favor, be gracious" along with variations on these themes ("graciously provide" or "favor a person with"). In Arabic the word means "yearn towards, incline towards, be merciful, compassionate." The Akkadian word means "to grant a privilege, do a favor, have mercy."
OK, so that was academic...but it goes to show that not only God is showing grace to you as He carries you through this part of your LONG life, you, too, are showing grace to us all...inclining towards us, granting us the privilege to share in this journey, and to show us all the favor of spending time with each one of us even as you aren't feeling at your best. I'm not alone in thinking that you are full of grace. Love you.
